Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Mormon, have been all my life. I served a mission to Japan from 1979-81, and will be serving in the Utah St. George Mission.

About Me

We have 8 children and nearly 14 grandchildren. I work in the oil and natural gas industry as a safety advisor for pipeline construction projects and production facilities construction and operations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, but became converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my early 20's after a period of wandering in other paths. When I returned to activity in the Church I determined that I'd test the Church's teachings to see if I could find happiness by following them. I have been testing these teachings on a daily basis for nearly 40 years now, and am still an active member of the Church. I am more deeply satisfied than ever that following the teachings of Jesus Christ that the Church is based on brings deep and lasting happiness in this life. I am more sure than ever that we can achieve eternal happiness with our families through the covenants and ordinances and teachings of the Church.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher in the adult Sunday School, but will be filling a 6 month mission in the Utah St. George mission during the summer of 2016.
