Hi I'm Ethan Rowley

I'm from the great state of Nevada. I have been called to the Mexico Monterrey West Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love anything that involves sports. I particularly enjoy playing basketball with my friends, and in high school I also played football and ran track. I enjoy listening to music and eating In-N-Out burger. I play the piano and know a few guitar chords as well. My family is the biggest blessing to me in my life, along with my beloved Denver Broncos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an active and loving LDS family. My parents taught me by their examples how I should live my own life. My younger brother and my mom and dad are the most important things in the world to me. Because of this gospel I know that we can be together forever. I've always known that I wanted to serve a mission, but during my first semester of college my desire to serve increased like never before. I saw the joy and happiness that is in my life because of this gospel that I had never seen before. I gained a strong knowledge and testimony of the Book of Mormon and the prophet Joseph Smith through personal prayer and scripture study. I know that my life is immensely better with the gospel than it would be without it. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I know that if I continue in my faith and live righteously that I will be blessed and so will my future family.

How I live my faith

The gospel is a part of who I am. Everything I do revolves around it. I know that trials will come my way, but through Jesus Christ and the knowledge of this gospel I can get through them and find lasting happiness. In church I play the piano for sacrament meeting. Music is an essential aspect of our religion and it brings such a powerful spirit into our lives. I have been called to serve a full-time mission in the Mexico Monterrey West Mission, and I could not be more excited! I have seen how this gospel has blessed my life and I want others to feel the same way.
