Hi I'm Rachel

I live in Illinois, I am a freshman in college, I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college in Chicago, Illinois. I am majoring in Human Resource management and Marketing. I am a Resident Assistant on campus, and I enjoy volunteering at an after school daycare center. I love to watch and play sports like basketball, soccer, hockey, and football. I also enjoy shopping, exploring the city, and reading. One of my most favorite things to do is spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great teachings of this Church. Not only do I feel that I have a purpose in Life, but I know that there is someone watching over me and helping me through my trials. As I have gone through trials in my life, I have always been able to find peace and comfort in the scriptures, prayer, and church meetings. When I don't do these things as often as I would like, I see a difference in myself and my attitude towards the world and those around me. I know that what I have been taught, and have come to know, through this Gospel is true. Without this Gospel, I would not be as strong as I am today. I know that as I continue to stay strong in the Gospel, I will be able to lead a happy and fulfilling life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings frequently, and through serving others. I also live my faith as I try to spread the word about this Gospel through casual conversations with friends and by working with the local missionaries.
