Hi I'm Acaylia

I love brownies, being in nature, and laughing until I cry. I'm a daughter. I'm a friend. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying to be...something (I am not quite sure what yet). I have taken a short break from schooling to serve God's children in the Florida Tampa Mission. I live with something called Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) which basically means I am super fragile and can break from something as simple as a sneeze. It isn't too fun, but the words from a very well-known Bible verse always find a way into my remembrance; "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."- Philipians 4:13 Though having OI comes with its own set of limitations I strive to live a life filled with joy and laughter; a life I have come to realize is only achievable when Christ is your focus.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of this church. I have had many experiences in life and I know that I was only able to overcome them with my Savior Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church that has access to the fullness of His gospel. I know that the teachings and principles are true and are exactly as God wants them to be. I know my Savior lives and that He loves me and I know God loves me because I am His daughter.

How I live my faith

Each and every day I wake up and thank our Father in Heaven for the new day that I have been given. Life isn't easy and it wasn't meant to be. Our job is to try our hardest and to be obedient to the principles that God has given us. Of course no one is perfect and that is why I love the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. I strive to become who God wants me to be and the only way I am able to do that is through faith in my Savior and repenting each day. I love sharing the thing which has made me me and that which has made me so happy in life, that being the atonement of our Savior and His wonderful Gospel.
