Hi I'm Luke Alcorn

I'm from Colorado Springs, Colorado. And I've been called to serve in the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission.

About Me

I play two sports, basketball and baseball. I play a couple instruments, piano, guitar, trumpet, ukulele, drums and I also sing. I love the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping, climbing and repelling are my passions.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a born member of this wonderful church. I have been raised as a part of this church since I was a baby. Because of my familys example of love and service, I was able to gain a testimony of the unity and love this church has for its members. I know that this is the Lords church, I know that He established it upon this earth. And I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. I am Mormon because of my faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because of my love fore Him, and because of His love for all of His children. I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me chances and opportunities to come back from sin, through Jesus Christ and His Atonement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, in every hour, in every minute. I am here to serve our Lord. Devoting everything in my life to the Lord for the next two years. I live my faith in my studies, in my prayers. I live my faith when I serve my fellow missionaries, teachers and staff members here at the MTC.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Luke Alcorn
Heavenly Father is and has always been there. He was the architect of this universe. He is the Father. He is the mastermind to His plan. And knowing all of this it is remarkable that He is even willing to know who we are personally. But it is important to remember that He is our Father. He is our friend. Through prayer, studying modern and ancient scripture and keeping His holy commandments, He has given us way for Him to know us, and for us to come to know Him. Show more Show less
