Hi I'm Spencer Livermore

I grew up in Oregon. My family and I are crazy, loving, new, faithful converts. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout high school, I worked in the theater department. On and off stage, I focused on leading productions to success. The technical side of theater always sparked my interest, and I designed the light and sound for productions my last two years of high school. My favorite activities are playing all kinds of games, practicing my sign language, and laughing with friends! I attended Brigham Young University from August 2015, to April 2016 taking courses that focused on math and history. Currently I am preparing to serve a full time mission in Sendai, Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

In this world of contesting opinions and rough waters, I find that no place is safer than aboard Christ's ship. I converted not only because the Gospel made such profound sense to me, but because I realized that there is safety to be found in God's love. His plan for our happiness is like gravity: a law of the universe. Nothing can change it, and it will always be the center of my existence. I feel personally that God has a plan for me and each one of us; we have a beautiful purpose that I didn't recognize until I softened my heart to Christ.

How I live my faith

My favorite thing about the Gospel is how often I learn new things! Sure, there's plenty to learn because I'm a convert, but it's more than that. I always learn a new perspective, or understand something a bit more deeply each week I attend church. Because learning is so important to me, I've spent a lot of time teaching and being taught in Sunday school! Seeing the faces of youth light up when they understand a principle in a new way is one of the most beautiful things I've seen.
