Hi I'm Margie Lisonbee

I grew up in a large family. I'm a mother of 5 sons and 1 daughter. I was an elementary school teacher for 23 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 5 sons and 1 daughter and a grandma to 19 fun-loving grandchildren. My husband and I delight in traveling to tropical locations and walking along the beach. I thrill when I scuba dive, snorkel, zip line, kayak and when simply exploring new destinations. I love to spend time in my large yard and rose garden. I've enjoyed 23 years teaching ESL, Reading, and fourth grade.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where I learned from my wise and loving mother and father about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a large family we attended weekly church services. I was very young when my own testimony began to grow from experiences with prayer and heavenly answers to those simple prayers. As my understanding of the godhead grew so did my love for each one of them. I believe that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are so united that are as one, but they are separate perfect individuals.

How I live my faith

Along with being a new hospital volunteer and a county fair board member, my husband and I are serving as group leaders with a 12 Step Addiction Recovers Program. I also teach the women at my church during our Sunday services.
