Hi I'm Tanner

I'm a songwriter and play five instruments. I've recorded two albums of my own original songs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was 9 years old I've been writing music. In elementary school I won a songwriting award. Throughout middle school I played in jazz band orchestra and marching band. In high-school I recorded multiple demo albums of my own original music. My senior year I recorded my first album professionally and after I graduated I recorded a second fully produced album. My music has always been an inspiration from the Lord through spiritual experiences. I hope my music will help people reach the full potential that they can be.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I've seen the Lord's hand in my life and it has been truly a blessing. As I've put forth faith into what I believed to be true and acted upon those things, what I believed to be true grew into a knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that there is a full knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today has given me hope and light in a world that feels so dark. Knowing that the Lord's hand is in my life and that he's watching over me and guiding me through my life is extremely comforting. Knowing that God knows that I have so much potential in this life and beyond gives me so much strength and determination and I couldn't be happier. I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to have the true and living gospel in my life and I want to make sure that everyone has a chance to accept it in their life too.

How I live my faith

On April 27th of 2016 I will begin my mission in Redlands California. I'm very excited to be serving in an area where I can relate to the people i'm teaching. Some of my friends think it would be really hard to put my musical aspirations on hold for 2 years but I know that being able to serve a full time mission will be the greatest blessing ever.
