Hi I'm Jade Schroeppel

I grew up in Highland Utah. My parents own a restaurant where I have worked and I am a Nursing Assistant. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a Mormon all of my life however my dad is not active in the church and my mom is a convert. She immigrated to America from El Salvador. I am twenty and I come from a family of seven. I have two sisters and two brothers and I am in the middle. I love to read and I am a hard worker. I am currently going to college to become a nurse. I am a nursing assistant and would like to further my education to become a labor and delivery nurse. I like to go hiking and run.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all of my life. Through studying the scriptures and really praying about this church I have gained a testimony. I know with an unshakable doubt that this is the true Church. I have had many trials in my life but through it all I always knew that I could trust in my Savior, Jesus Christ to help me, guide me and strengthen me through those trials to become the person that he wants me to be. People think there cannot be a God because he wouldn't let such bad things happen to good people but without Trials then we would never know just how strong we can become. A diamond does not become so beautiful and strong without immense pressure and time. Trials will end and knowing that I have my father in heaven and Jesus Christ to lean on and to kneel to when I cannot stand it any longer gives me the strength to go on. This church fills me with such love. I didn't just believe my mom or my ward leaders when they told me this church was true. I asked my Heavenly Father myself, if this church is true. Through prayer, if asked with true intent and faith Heavenly Father will reveal the truth to you.

How I live my faith

I go to my local singles ward. I am currently in the FHE committee. Basically I help plan and execute Family Home Evening for my singles ward. We plan service activities as well as fun activities for the members to be able to get to know one another and be able to become closer as a ward and to help out people in need in our community. We help weed and keep clean the local cemetery, create food bags for homeless nearby and other services that people may need. I also visit teach three girls in my ward. Once a month I go with my sister and we teach a quick lesson and help out the three girls with anything they need and sometimes bring treats.
