Hi I'm Tessa Miller

I'm from Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended a semester of college, and I am now preparing to serve a full-time mission in Japan. I love all things outdoors: fishing, hiking, camping, climbing, and all that good stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony is simple. I don’t know all the details of the Church’s doctrine, and I am constantly learning new things about the Gospel. But, the things I do have a testimony of, I know without a doubt. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ lives and loves us. I know that if I am ever in need of comfort or friendship, if I ever feel alone or abandoned, if I am nervous or lost, if I’m scared or hopeless, I can always turn to my Father in Heaven and Savior for comfort. I know that my prayers are heard and answered. My answers don’t necessarily come in the form or time that I want, but they come. I have been able to get through some of the most difficult and lonely times of my life with nothing but prayer, scriptures, and my eternal family. I know that the Atonement is real, that Christ literally bled in Gethsemane and died on the cross so that we can be forgiven for every wrong choice we have made. I know that for a fact. I know that we are loved unconditionally and completely and that there is nothing that we can ever do or say to have that love revoked. I know that if you read and study the words of the prophets, and pray to know if it is true you will receive an answer of the Gospel’s truth. I know that families are eternal and that temples are places of heaven on earth. I love this Gospel, and I know that because of it I get to be with my family for eternity. I love my Savior, and because I him we can return to our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. Through small acts of kindness and support.
