Hi I'm Matthew Brown

I am an artist and scientist. I love making friends and serving people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love exploring! I love going to new places, meeting new people. I love to make friends, and I love to try and make people smile. I work as a lifeguard at the Orem Recreation Center. My brothers and I also own and operate a lawn mowing business where we mow around 25 lawns a week. I love finding ways to serve others and help other people be happy. I love learning about science and math and how the world and universe works, even down to the smallest living organisms. I love art, especially music, painting, and drawing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints, and I have grown up learning and applying the principles that is taught. I am a Mormon because I love the gospel. I love the principles and doctrine that the Book of Mormon teaches and I know in my heart that it is true. I love looking for truths and the goodness of the Lord outside of church. I also love all of the service opportunities the church provides me. I am able to serve physically through service projects, mentally, emotionally and spiritually through church meetings and relations.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to serve others, and doing what my Lord would have me do. I have found that this is best done with the companionship of the Holy Ghost. To keep myself worthy of the Holy Spirit, I read and study my scriptures daily, I pray, and I make an effort to attend the temple regularly. Sometimes I listen to conference talks or hymns while I am mowing lawns. I have found that one of the best ways to serve is to do what the Lord would have me do in any circumstance, and prepare myself physically, mentally, and spiritually for the moments when I can help support someone in those areas.
