Hi I'm Albert Partain

I grew up in San Diego, California and Portland, Oregon. I'm a convert of six years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest and love hiking, camping and visiting all the amazing places this region of the country has. I spend lots of time watching and playing sports as well. I am a convert to the church and it hasnt been until this past year or so that I truly became converted. I chose to serve a mission after attending the LDS Business College last winter.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents decided to become members six years ago. I was baptized then and continued in the church for years. When my family fell away I was about 17. It was then that I had to really come to a full conversion. I struggled with this but remained a somewhat active member because I always felt that this was the true Gospel that I needed to be apart of. I had a hard time recognizing the prompting of the Holy Ghost trying to let me know that this was the true Gospel. It was not until I read a conference talk that highlighted the Holy Ghost and the ways that the Holy Spirit helps us that I truly became converted. Now I continue in the Gospel and am giving two years to our Heavenly Father to help others that are in a place where they need to hear the gospel or be reminded of its importance in our lives.

How I live my faith

I particapate to the fullness of my capacity. I teach the Youth of my ward on sundays, assist whenever I can with move ins/outs and other activiities that need my help. I attend all my sunday meetings and go with the intent to really learn and gain some new kowledge or better understanding. The Gospel is filled with knowledge that I am eager to learn, study, and help others learn.
