Hi I'm Kristina

I grew up in California, and I'm a student at BYU. I am currently serving as a full time missionary in South Korea. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a good listener and a quick learner. I enjoy playing flute, and I had a lot of fun participating in wind ensemble and marching band in high school. I also enjoy traveling to new places, and meeting new people. Right now I'm a college student, and I hope to be able to participate in some great study abroad programs. I love animals, especially my dog! I love spending time with my family, whether it be zip lining through the rainforests of Costa Rica, or playing board games and sharing family stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I have witnessed firsthand how this gospel has blessed the lives of myself and the people I love. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that it truly does testify of Christ and His love for us. I love that there is a living prophet on the earth today, to share with us the will of the Lord. I am a Mormon because I love my family, and I want to be with them forever. I love the happiness, comfort, and confidence that comes with living the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. In the past, I was a member of our local youth committee, a group made up of and run by other high-school aged Mormons. We planned all kinds of fun activities, like dances and flour tag, for all the youth in the community to enjoy! I have also served as a family history consultant, where I was able to help people find and connect with some their ancestors. I recently went on a service trip to Guatemala through the Liahona Children's Foundation, where we distributed nutrient dense supplements to malnourished children in different areas of the country. While there, we also built bunk beds, repaired roofs, and painted walls for members of the community. I love the people there, especially the children, and I hope to be able to go back someday! I am currently serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in South Korea. I know that this church and the Book of Mormon are true, and I am excited for the opportunity I have to invite others to come unto Christ. I want to share the joy and peace that this gospel brings with everyone I meet!
