Hi I'm Bernadette

I am a Mormon. I joined the church in February of 2014 along side my mother and daughter. It was a beautiful experience.

About Me

I was born in Chicago, but I was raised in Edmonds, Washington. While growing up I studied classical ballet. This lead me to move to the east coast to pursue my dreams to become a professional dancer. After dancing many years I decided to start a family. However, I did not want to tour and have my child on the road so in order to continue my art I began to teach and choreograph, This lead me to teach in some of the best studios and schools in the country along with choreographing national and internationally for an Emir and in a movie. I've had a great career, but eventually I hit hard times and found myself and my immediate family homeless, but we keep the faith during our struggle. That struggle helped us find our way to Las Vegas and to the church. It has been the best experience of my life. Now, I am happily living my dreams of owning and running my own ballet school. I love it. I am so grateful for the love of Heavenly Father, because he will take you through anything if you simply have faith in him.

Why I am a Mormon

My daughter was interesting in the church. I allowed the missionaries to visit with us in support of my daughter. In listening and learning the gospels I came to find that the church was true. Everyday my testimony grows stronger that Joseph Smith was a Prophet. He saw Heavenly Father and Jesus. Everything that is in the Book of Mormon is true. I am grateful and proud to be a Mormon. I am a Mormon. because I believe in the gospels and I believe in the church. I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live the faith everyday in knowing that Heavenly Father is guiding and loving me. This helps me to make the right desicions in my life. I have experienced tons of wrong and bad decision, but those wrong decisions don't make you who you are. If you repent and live correctly you will see the blessings pour themselves upon you. I experienced a hardship in which I lost my home and had a snowball effect occur in my life surrounding that experience, but I never gave up. I even losing my eyesight completely for brief time recently due to having Lupus, but I never gave up. My faith is strong, because I know with out a doubt that Heavenly Father loves me. As I attempt to heal my life and my health I feel and see the blessings every day.
