Hi I'm Margo Reyna

I am a happy person who loves life and all the adventures that come with it. I also love to read and learn.

About Me

I grew up on a farm with five brothers. We then moved to the city and added a sister to the family. Being one of the oldest in the family, I learned the necessity of hard work and how it is really a blessing in life. When I became a mother I was able to enjoy the rigorous routine because I was not afraid of all the responsibilities that come with motherhood. When my children grew older, I went back to school to become a teacher. It was hard to be both a mother and student but then I knew and appreciated the results of hard work. It paid off and I have been teaching for many years and love it. I love to learn about life through various capacities: reading books and newspapers, exploring the beauties of Mother Nature, visiting with many different people I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all my life and find I am still learning and growing in the gospel. I choose to stay a member of this Church because I have witnessed the blessings that come from obeying the commandments of God. My life is better because I know what I can do to gain happiness. It is what I feel that makes me want to always better myself and live the kind of life my Heavenly Father has planned for me. I know that by living his standards, I will be a better person. I do not find it difficult or restrictive in any way. I have my agency to do as I want but I choose to follow His teachings because I know it is the best way to get through this life. During times of hardships and trials, I can lean on my Heavenly Father to help me navigate through them During times of joy, contentment, and success, I have someone to thank and rejoice with. I am so thankful for the process of repentance because I have used it many times to help get and keep me on the right track. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and is rooting for me as I make my way here in mortality. I know I will be able to be with Him and my Savior Jesus Christ again. What comfort this gives me.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church because it helps me grow spiritually and gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that I am helping others. I have been privileged to served in many different areas of the Church such as working with small children in the nursery, working with young women in religion classes and at camp, and working as a teacher in adult classes. Because serving helps me stay connected to the other members, helps develop my faith and helps me feel closer to my Heavenly Father, I always want to be serving in one capacity or another because when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.
