Hi I'm BreAnna

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. I'm a college student. I'm a baseball fan. I'm a ballroom dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying to become an elementary teacher. I love working with kids and have been teaching ballroom dance classes to children for the past two years. I myself have been participating in Ballroom classes for the past 12 years and prior to that I did ballet and contemporary style dancing starting at the age of 2. Dance has been a big part of my life and has taught me a lot of life skills. I have also participated in local musicals and choirs and enjoy other things such as painting (although I'm not very good at it), hiking, camping, and watching baseball (especially the Kansas City Royals).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was already part of the LDS church and cant remember a time in my life that the church wasn't there for me. I don't think that I always knew that the church was true but I always felt happy when I was going to church. When I was in high school I had a hard time knowing if I should continue going to church. I had many friends that weren't members and they seemed to be doing fine without the church, but as I got to know them better I discovered that they all felt like there was something missing from there lives. My other friends that are members and strong in the church never felt that way about their lives and I realized what the difference was. I was able to go to a few different church youth conferences and because of those I was able to gain a strong testimony of the church. My favorite one by far was EFY (especially for youth). There I had an amazing experience that I will always remember. It is where I decided that I was going to serve a mission. I was so close to the spirit that week and I now strive to be able to feel the spirit that strongly everyday. I know that this church is the one true church and that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and that they want me to succeed. I know that if I follow the commandments and do as the prophets and my other spiritual leaders that are inspired by God through the gift of the Holy Ghost that I will be able to go back to live with my Heavenly Father and my brother Jesus Christ again.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to serve a mission for the church in the Baltimore area. In the mean time I am currently called to teach the 3 and 4 year olds on Sundays. I also volunteer at a local elementary school. I mostly help in the kindergarten there and really love being able to help the young people of the community learn.
