Hi I'm Liam donovan

From California, raised in Colorado and Utah, serving in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born to two wonderful people in Auburn, California in 1997. Shortly after my parents were converted and joined the church and I was sealed to my parents along with my loving older brother Austin. My family and I moved the Colorado when I was three and I grew up in the church, and then moved to a small town in Utah when I turned 8 years old. I was home-schooled till 8th grade where I attended my middle school, and fell in love with theater. I attended high school full time and made sure to make all my theater classes and school plays. I've always loved to make people laugh so I took up the title of class clown, I also love to help people, and decided one great way to help people is through health care. My senior year I attended a Medical Assisting course. After high school I interned and received my certification and got a job to help pay for the expenses of my mission. In early 2016 I received my mission call to the Scotland/Ireland mission to preach in the Mandarin Chinese language and am incredibly excited to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were not in the church into their adulthood, I have heard their conversion story a thousand times, and each time it strengthens my testimony. They found greater peace, greater love, and greater happiness in the church than they have anywhere else. I've seen the change that takes place when someone becomes converted to the gospel and the shift for the better that takes place in their life. My life has always become better as I strive to become closer to our savior by reading the scriptures and attending my classes and meetings. I support things that help people for the better, the LDS church is the thing I've seen cause the greatest change for good, so I support it with all of my heart, might, mind, and strength. I am Mormon because I know the LDS church can help everyone, in any circumstances or situations that they may be facing. Here they can find support and love.

How I live my faith

I believe Christian is a verb, it is something you have to work towards. As I follow the example of Christ and his disciples I do my absolute best to emulate the kindness, gentleness, love, and empathy of our Savior Jesus Christ. The greatest way to emulate our Savior is by serving others, I have worked at various welfare and humanitarian institutions to help those less fortunate. But I realize I can help everyday, by simply being as kind as possible to everyone I meet and helping with the simple things, such as holding the door, or smiling and waving to everyone to help brighten their day. Christ performed many miracles, but his everyday demeanor was of a bright countenance and gentleness. Every second he lived he exemplified what we should strive to be. So every second I will endeavor to be like him.
