Hi I'm Emily Zimmerman

I am from southern California. I am a nursing student, I love to eat ice cream, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on the coast of southern California. I remember spending all my time at the beach. Warm sunshine and hot sand is my paradise. I just started nursing school and I feel like I'm living my dream every day at school. When I have free time, I absolutely adore every minute I get to laugh and play with my nieces and nephew. I have a slight ice cream addiction, I love to shop, stargaze, and spend time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Heavenly Father loves each one of us. And because of this, He sent a Savior to the earth, Jesus Christ, to make it possible for each of us to return to Him. Through Jesus Christ and His Sacrifice all can repent and be made clean again. I have experienced the cleansing power of the Atonement in my life. It works. Through Jesus Christ we can change, and become more like God, our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I have felt God's love in my own life, and know that if we follow Him, we can return to live with Him someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving within the church. I have been part of several youth counsels, played the piano or organ for a variety of meetings, and planned many young single adult activities. Recently, I have received my call from the church to serve as a full time missionary in Colorado for the next 18 months. I am beyond excited to serve and share my faith with others!
