Hi I'm Sariah

I grew up in Illinois. I'm a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love to sing, dance, and write. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graphic design student at BYU-Idaho. I play the piano, violin, and love to sing. I recently started taking dance classes in college and I love it. (Especially ballet and country swing.) I have studied French for 5 years and was excited to discover that I know enough French now to read the Book of Mormon in French (Le Livre de Mormon). I run a blog where I post mostly gospel related topics.

Why I am a Mormon

I read the Book of Mormon because it brings me peace and I know it's true. I was born a member of the church, but I have been gaining my own testimony by reading the scriptures, saying my prayers, and trying harder each day to apply what I know is right. As I have tried to invite the Spirit into my life more and as I have tried to apply gospel principles to my life more fully, I have gained much more faith and hope than I knew I could have and it brings a lot of joy into my life. It also helps me to be more confident because I know I don't need to fear if I am following the Lord. I feel better about myself and the world when I am living worthily.

How I live my faith

I try to pray and study the Book of Mormon each day. I try to become friends with others and give them hope that they can improve and that God loves them. I try to encourage others to have integrity and strengthen their testimonies because I know that it blesses my life a lot and it can do the same for them.
