Hi I'm Lynette

I love reading, dancing, and eating s'mores. I'm the oldest child in my family of 6. I'm a student at BYU-I. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like hiking in a leisurely and non-competitive manner :). I'm preparing to serve a mission in Guatemala in April of 2016!!! I have one semester under my belt at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field (specific ideas, anyone? ). I have had leading parts in two plays and love to watch any play I can. I love to bake new things in the kitchen as well as make any old favorite recipes involving chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I continue to be part of it because, frankly, I love it! My family is everything to me, and I have gained a testimony that this church is the only one that makes it possible to be with them forever. Seeing the examples of faithful members helps increase my desire to serve. They help me become more like my Savior Jesus Christ and live in a way that He and Heavenly Father would be pleased with.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a visiting teacher, which is where I try to be a friend, helper and counselor to an assigned sister in my ward. I am a ward missionary in my singles ward, so I get to visit with many new people, and it's great practice for the mission!
