Hi I'm Austin Bryner

I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. I love sports, I'm currently attending BYU, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am a southern boy with parents from Provo, Utah. I loved playing sports in high school and in college. I am currently attending BYU and I absolutely love it. I am studying to be a chemical engineer with hopes for graduate school. I want to attend graduate school for nuclear engineering so I can do research.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love this gospel. I grew up in this church so i wasn't a convert. The church was big in my family and it was just a natural part of my family's life. I never questioned my testimony growing up because I had never thought that it couldn't be true. As i got older those questions would come up and i finally had to decide for myself if the church was true and if it was really what i wanted to do. It wasn't a miraculous conversion or one defining moment. It took time and effort to grow my testimony. I started to understand the doctrine and feel joy from my knowledge of our Savior's plan and the Savior's Atonement. Nobody is perfect and surly i am not either. Through personal experience i have been able to feel the peace and comfort that repentance gives to those who seek it. This is the restored church on Earth and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways just like most other Mormons. I go to church every Sunday and actively participate in my ward calling. My ward calling is a Sunday school teacher. About once a month I prepare a lesson with another person and we teach our class. Besides Sunday activities I live my religion by trying my best to be an example to those of my faith and not of my faith.
