Hi I'm Bailey

I grew up in the United States of America. I would like to be an animator someday. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student that is working on an major in Illustration. I love to draw and read. I love watching movies with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church makes me feel joy and happiness that I can't obtain anywhere else. I love knowing that I will be with my family for eternity and I love learning about my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I teach the 4 to 5 year old in my church. I go to church every Sunday.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Bailey
Being independent for Mormons is important to us because we don't want to be indebted to others. It keeps us free to make our own choices and not under the control of another. We like to be prepared so that when there is an emergency we will be calm and ready to do whatever is necessary to provide support for our families and others that need help. It helps us care and serve those that are in need. Show more Show less

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Bailey
Mormon women are like everyday women. They have families and children they take care of and in some certain circumstances they do have jobs. You may know more Latter-Day Saint (Mormon) women than you think. We deeply admire equality between men and women. We do believe that men and women have specific jobs in the home. Men go to work to earn money to support their families and are to provide safety for their families as well. Women work at home to support their families in a different way by providing a safe environment for their children to learn to love and be loved. These are only the ideal circumstances of a family, there are some cases where this is not possible and roles change. We believe that there must be an equal partnership in a marriage. There must be respect for both roles and both the husband and wife. This respect is a crucial part in having a happier family. Show more Show less
