Hi I'm Meg

I grew up in Australia, I am a homemaker and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am 45 and I am married with 3 chilldren (two boys and a girl). I love being a Mum and my children make me what I am today. I have a very supportive and loving husband who is 10 years older than me. I am learning how to knit and crochet and I love being in the bush, hiking and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as I have never felt so loved and embraced and welcomed by any other Church. I believe in the Plan of Salvation as it tells me where I was before coming to the Earth, what I am doing here and where I will go after. I believe in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. I know that when people die it is not goodbye but see you soon. I know for a surety that I will see them again. I know that what I do while I am here on this Earth matters. I know that with the sealing powers of our Temples that I can have and create Eternal Families meaning that we will be together with our Families forever until the end of time. When I was Catholic I used to pick and choose the bits that suited me but with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have not found any doctrine that I don't agree with. I wish you luck in your quest for truth and knowledge and know that I have found the Church that Heavenly Father wants me to be at.

How I live my faith

I love going to Church on a Sunday as I get to help out in Nursery looking after the babies aged between 18 months and 3 years. They are so precious! I also visit with 3 or 4 of the ladies who go to our Church once a month and do service projects for them helping them out with housework or yard work. I love how it's not just a Church but it's a community.
