Hi I'm Celina

Hello! I'm a simple girl who comes from a somewhat small town and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Currently I am a freshman at BYU-Idaho! I love the opportunity I have to learn about secular and non-secular topics at this wonderful university! My love for science and nature has inspired me to work towards earning a degree in chemistry. I love nature and oftentimes take time during the summer weeks to enjoy the nearby mountains. Although my art skills are not fully developed, I love to paint! Whenever I can I love to be creative. As a result, arts and crafts are some of my favorite things to do!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though many of the generations before me were also Mormons, I am a Mormon because I have gained a personal testimony of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I am a Mormon because of the joy, the peace, and the direction that the gospel brings into my life daily.

How I live my faith

During high school I had the wonderful opportunity to take an hour out of my school day to go to seminary so that I could more fully learn about the gospel. Participating in seminary taught me many important truths of the gospel and helped me to establish good gospel habits, such as reading my scriptures, saying my prayers, and applying gospel truths into my daily life. Now I am attending institute and love it just as much! Currently I am taking a mission preparation class so that I can better prepare to soon serve a mission! While I may do these things and more, it is in my simple day to day decisions and habits that I fully express how I live my faith!
