Hi I'm Katelynne

I grew up in Southern California and am a student at Brigham Young University. I am a missionary in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, but taking a break from school to serve a mission in Mexico. I like gymnastics, typography, hiking, sign language, sleeping, laughing, exploring, discovering, the beach, reading a good book, skydiving, skiing, yoga, and art. I like to have fun and try new things. I also like going to school. It's a lot of work but it's some of the best work. While at school, I also work as a waitress and a caterer (Because I love both food and people).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be happy. I have felt confirmation throughout my life that I am on the right path and that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God translated by Joseph Smith. I am a Mormon because I cannot deny the Spirit that has testified to me of the truth of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have multiple places where I can live my faith- at College, at Home, and Abroad. Currently, I am on a mission, teaching people about Christ and helping them to feel his love. Before my mission, I was in College and I participated in my ward family through food! I was part of a committee that would make a Sunday dinner for our whole ward (~250 people) and I was able to visit with sisters once a month. Before that, at home, I lived my faith through attending church, youth activities, and an early Scripture class at 6:30 every morning before school.
