Hi I'm Sari

I grew up in Washington State and Louisiana. I went got my associates degree at Brigham Young University- Idaho.

About Me

I really enjoy painting! I go through highs and lows of productivity with it, but it is how I clear my head and how I find peace in every day life, besides in the church. I also love school! I am in college right now and I am enjoying every second dog it! I mostly enjoy since based classes, like biology and chemistry, and literature classes. I hope to become a dentist someday! *fingers crossed*

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has brought me a great sense of happiness. I cannot say that there was some single moment where I had an epiphany of the gospel's truthfulness. Rather, my testimony came through many crucial and miraculous events throughout my life that built up a foundation for the faith that I am still growing today. There have been highs and lows in my faith, but I have always had an unwavering testimony in Christ's atonement and God's love for His children. I know that when we do our best and strive earnestly to follow Christ, then then atonement will make up what we cannot and we will be able to live with Him again. I also know that families can be together forever when they are sealed in the temple and endure to the end with righteousness. The gospel can bring a great light into anyone's life. I am a planner; I like to have plans for where I will go next in life. The gospel has taught me that God always has a plan for us. Sometimes, we must take a step of faith in the direction the Lord would have us go even if we do not know where it will lead in the end. When we take those leaps of faith, we will be lead to happier circumstances than we could have imagined or planned on our own because of the Lord's love.

How I live my faith

My favorite calling I have had in the church is teaching the sunbeam class (3-4 year olds) in primary! there is something sweet and peaceful about learning the little things of the gospel that, as adults, we have a hard time noticing. I have truly learned to appreciate the little things, anything from prayer to the sun, because of my little class of sunbeams. I also love the music of primary! Those songs that are meant for children are the ones that come to mind to give me peace at the hardest times in my life. I have gained a strong testimony of Christ's love and the Holy Ghost because of them.
