Hi I'm Nikki Smith

I grew up in Las Vegas. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in sunny Las Vegas, where I gained a love for music and the Church. I especially found a passion in singing. In my free time, I love attending musicals and reading novels. I learned to love reading from my mom and have loved it ever since. Each summer, I looked forward to going to camp and enjoying the outdoors. I'm currently attending college and am looking forward to continuing my studies in voice.

Why I am a Mormon

This church means the world to me. I'm incredibly excited to be serving a mission in a few short months. I first gained my testimony while watching a video on Joseph Smith as a child. The power of his mission and the understanding of who he is and what an incredible person he was really rang true for me. I loved the truth that our questions can have answers when asked in faith. Throughout my life, my testimony has continued to grow. I decided to serve a mission specifically to share my testimony that families can be eternal and that there is a Father in Heaven who loves each and every one of His children. I know He is mindful of each one of us and cares individually for us.

How I live my faith

My main participation in my church community has been through music and family history work. Back at home, I had the opportunity to play the organ in some meetings and the piano in others. As a youth, I enjoyed helping plan camp and helping the younger girls. Now I really enjoy and try to be actively involved in doing family history work.
