Hi I'm Alisa

I am a wife. A mother to Three beautiful children. I grew up mostly in Las Vegas but currently live in Idaho. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up for the most part in Las Vegas. I loved everything about it and still do. I am the oldest out of Five children. I love being a mom and wife. Right after I graduated high school I went and continued my education to become a hairstylist. I now own my salon with seven other girls and work part-time doing hair. I have been in the industry for almost 14 years and I still love it.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon today? I want to continue to have the happiness and blessings I have now in my life. I want to live with my family forever and not just here on this earth. I want to never feel alone. We don't have to be alone if we just "Pick-up the phone when your missing home- Hilary Weeks" When circumstances aren't going my way I want to know that I have places to look for answers. I know that if I sin that I can use the Atonement in my life and correct my mistakes and get back on the right path. I know and believe in our latter day prophets and they give us correct guidance and counsel to follow so that we might be able to return home. I believe in the Book of Mormon and that it is another book of words to help us. I am grateful for the knowledge of Temples and to be able to go there.

How I live my faith

I love my ward. My callings currently are the Bear den leader and a ward missionary. I am getting really good at the scouts thing! I have been in the calling for over two years now, but I feel I am just getting the hang of it. I like to do all the fun activities. Being a ward missionary has been so rewarding! It has made me come out of my comfort zone and try harder to meet new people around me. I have gained so many friendships from it! I want to be a great example for them and their families but I get to see and learn things from them that I know I needed in my life too.
