Hi I'm Zach Thomas

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love to ski and play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Zach. I am 19 years old. I have been a member of the church all my life. I come from a family of 8, I have three sisters and two brothers. Family is everything to me. Some of my hobbies are playing rugby, football, and skiing. My whole family likes to ski. We ski every Saturday since the time we were three. I love dirt bikes, and I also like to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors. I went to the University of Utah studying business. I am a landscaper and had my own company. I am now currently serving a two year mission in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I was raised in the church, and since the day i was born I have gone to church. I was raised by great parents who both have strong testimonies, but there was a point in my life where I didn't have a testimony, and I had to figure out for myself. At this point in life, I didn't know who I was or who i wanted to be, and i wasn't doing anything to benefit myself or anyone around me. I was headed down the wrong path. But through the examples and with the help of people around me, family, my bishop, friends and others, i was able to see the light of the gospel. Though it was small at first, it gets stronger every day. I still have lots to learn, and every day i strive to both learn, and come closer to our Savior, and follow his perfect example.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving. I love to do service wherever i can. Before my mission, i would give blood every s week, this was something i liked to do because it really helped other people out that need it. I really enjoy serving other people because like it says in Mosiah 2:17 " when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." When we serve other people, we are living our faith.
