Hi I'm Carly Roloff

I'm a Mormon from Salt Lake City, Utah. I was baptized in 2012 and will soon be a missionary in the Milan, Italy Mission.

About Me

I am a nineteen years old and previously attended Utah State University. Before attending college, I was a cheerleader at my high school and loved it! I love making new friends and being apart of something that will help me create better friendships with others. I will soon be departing as a full-time missionary and could not be more excited to serve the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it! I was baptized when I was fifteen years old and have never looked back. Being a Mormon has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I have come to know so many amazing people and have grown as much as a person myself. I love the happiness that radiates off of every one at church and the spirit that is felt. It is so comforting to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and looks after me each and every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, reading my scriptures and praying daily. Each day I try to be more Christ like to be a better representative of His church. I have also decided to serve a full-time mission and lose myself in the work. By having faith in Jesus Christ, I am a much happier person and am blessed daily.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Carly Roloff
The Word of Wisdom is a commandment that our Father in Heaven has given us to help keep our bodies and minds clean and healthy. When keeping the Word of Wisdom, you are not supposed to partake of tobacco, illegal drugs, alcohol, coffee, or tea. This is because these substances are harmful to our bodies and can cause addiction and cause our minds to turn away from Christ. Our Heavenly Father promises many blessings to the physical and spiritual bodies who choose to follow the Word of Wisdom. To find more about this particular commandment, you can see the Doctrine and Covenants 89:1-21. Show more Show less
