Hi I'm Victoria Summers

I grew up in Maryland. I want to be an elementary school teacher. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I fell in love with gymnastics from a very young age, but after so long I had to quit due to the demands of school. I came to then love journalism, and was the Co Editor-in-Chief of my high schools yearbook. During that time I started to realize just how much I enjoyed photography, and just pictures in general. I love the way the capture a moment and save it forever. Now, I am attending college and studying to become and elementary school teacher, I love learning, and helping others to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the message of peace and joy that the gospel brings. I have found the teachings to be true, and I have applied them in my life. I have seen that through the atonement of Jesus Christ I can be made perfect again. I have seen times where I knew that my strength alone was not enough and I have seen Him make up where I lacked. Being away at school I fell more and more in love with the gospel. I came to see that where others were scared and afraid, my Heavenly Father would send me peace and comfort. I have read the Book of Mormon and found it to be true for myself. I have seen the ways that Heavenly Father talks to His children through the Book of Mormon. There have been times where I will read a verse of scripture having read it plenty of times before, but due to my circumstance at that point in time it stand

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service, and love. Whenever there is a need for a babysitter I am always willing to help out. When I am home from school I help my parents out by running my siblings to practices, school, and work. Throughout my time in the youth program for the church I was called to serve in many presidencies. I helped plan activities, and watch over the girls in my age group. For an all girls camp I served as a Youth Camp Leader. I was able to have fun with the girls while being an example to them. Now, being away to college, I make sure that I do not allow other plans to take priority over church.
