Hi I'm Drew

I was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. I have been called to serve a LDS mission in Tucson, Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being active. I love sports, just about any one would do! I also love doing outdoor activities like backpacking, mountain biking, and hiking. I enjoy being with people and getting to know them. Everyone has a story and I love hearing them and sharing mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I wouldn't say I was truly converted until my preparation to go on a mission. A mission was always something I felt like I had to do. Not because my family would shun me if I wouldn't, but because I felt I needed to turn around and do something good for a change. Part of my preparation to serve involved scripture study, with an emphasis on the Book of Mormon. I lived 18 years of life being told that if I would 1-Read the Book of Mormon, 2-Ponder its message, and 3-Pray to know if it was true, that I would get an answer. I didn't ever apply it until I had this desire to serve. I know the Book of Mormon is true and a key to conversion. It teaches of Christ and helps us all come closer to Him. I've learned a lot about my Savior and I plan to learn more. And oh, how exciting that is!!

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Southern Arizona. As a missionary, my purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ or to come closer to Him. Missionaries devote 2 years to serving in a specific part of the world. Charity is an attribute we strive for so that we may serve others as Christ would.
