Hi I'm Raine

I grew up in Oregon. I love to play soccer. I'm a convert to the church, and I'm a missionary in South Carolina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on Oregon, love to play soccer, and love the color yellow. My name my be Raine, but my friends will tell you it should be sunny because of my bright and cheery disposition. I love to learn. My favorite subject is math. I graduated from High school with an associates degree in Mechatronics. I love to be with my friends. I love my mom and my two younger but taller brothers. The flute and ukulele are the best! Music is a blessing from heaven I love it so much. I volunteer in the summertime with different summer camps. Most of all smiley faces, rainbows, and sunshine are the best. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of God our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that they love me and each person perfectly. I know that through the prophet Joseph Smith Jesus Christ's original church has been restored to it's fullness. I have read the Book of Mormon, and after asking in sincere prayer, come to know it is true. I have lived the principles of the gospel, and doing so has brought so much joy to me and my family. I know through the Atonement of Jesus Christ anything wrong, painful, sad, or unfair can be made right and perfect. I am not afraid to share what I believe. I can't wait to let my light shine to those who need it in South Carolina. Missionary work means so much to me as a convert. When I was 10 years old my best friend invited me to the LDS church and if it wasn't for that small act of missionary work I would definitely not be the person I am today. After attending many church activities and meeting with the missionaries my mom and I were baptized. Eventually my younger brothers also were baptized. I have become a better person than I would have been without the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has also blessed my family beyond measure. To anyone wondering whether or not this church is a good idea I would say, just give it a try. I promise blessings will come when you obey Jesus Christ. Really, what harm can come from choosing to be a better person? To this question I say none. It never hurts to choose the right.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to follow and be an example of Jesus Christ. He is the only perfect person who has ever walked this earth. I know living like him will bless my life and bring me the most happiness.
