Hi I'm Tiffany Williamson

I'm an aspiring author, but I'm putting my writing on hold to serve in the California Irvine Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and attended college for two years. I love to read, write, and learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because nothing else in this world or beyond has brought the same joys, experiences, and help that I have had through knowing the truths of the Gospel of Christ. I know that God is real, and that He speaks to me personally, as well as anyone else to truly seeks Him, and none more so than His chosen prophet, who teaches us everything the God dictates he should. I know that the Savior, Jesus Christ, is the very Head of this church, because everything points to and comes from Him. That knowledge alone influences every aspect of my life. Because I know that, I can go through things like a car crash and my sister's hospital stays, and feel calm and at peace, because I know that God is in charge at all times, so I don't have to feel afraid because I'm not in control. Because I know that, I know that even when I struggle, and have questions that I can't seem to answer, I know that I can pray, and I know that Christ is constantly with me, listening, and has a perfect understanding of my heart, my desires, my struggles, and how to help me in the very best way. Sometimes that way is to give me an answer, and sometimes it's not. Whether or not I ever receive an answer in the way I expect or want, He always answers in the way that I need. Even in my struggles and my trials, I know that everything has a reason, and everything can be taken to the Lord in prayer, and that brings me comfort and strength to continue, even in darkness. I'm a Mormon because it gives me a reason to do what I do, and live how I live. The Gospel of Christ has all the answers to the most important questions anyone could ask, and tells everyone how they can have their own personal questions answered for anything in their life. Not only that, but every answer that can be received through prayer and personal revelation from God will lead every individual back to Him. Christ, through His Gospel, gives me hope, joy, and strength. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a Visiting Teaching Coordinator, which means I'm in charge of seeing that a few sisters get their visiting teaching done, as well as go out and do my own visiting teaching. I love doing my visiting teaching. I have been able to get to know a few sisters whom I probably wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. It's a great way to get to know and love the sisters in the ward, and be able to unite with them in the Gospel of Christ, and to learn from and serve each other and build each other up as fellow disciples of Christ.
