Hi I'm Sarah Checketts

I've grown up in Utah. I'm serving a mission is Philadelphia. I'm a sister and daughter. I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student attending a wonderful college. I love to golf. I love animals and currently volunteer at my local humane society. I am the middle child of three girls. Being on stage is my passion! I love to perform and I love all aspects of theatre. I love to be in the mountains because the Spirit is so strong and I find I am able to receive inspiration more clearly.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the faith it gives me. I don't know how I could live life happily without the knowledge I have of a higher being and the knowledge that life continues after death. The LDS faith gives me a sense of belonging and security. Belonging because I know that I am part of an incredible organization based on family and love. Security that I will be with my family forever! That is an amazing promise! I love my family more than anything and the fact that I truly know that I will be with them forever is more than I could ever hope for.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to become a full time missionary serving in Pennsylvania. I love to go to the temple and love to share the gospel with all I come into contact with. My favorite thing to do is to talk to people and understand what they believe then share what I believe. I try to always carry a copy of the Book of Mormon with me in case I find someone who wants to know more about our faith and beliefs.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Sarah Checketts
Family is part of the foundation of our religion. We believe that families are forever, meaning that we will be with our family long after death. We do not believe that death is the end, it is only the beginning. We believe that the family is essential to our salvation. We have been commanded to multiply and replenish the Earth and so we believe that families are ordained of God. Show more Show less
