Hi I'm Audrey Nelson

I am a full time missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission, I am a film actress, a singer, a BYU student, & I am a Mormon :)

About Me

I was lucky enough to live in many different amazing places, but London England will always feel like home. My parents are my best friends along with my 7 older siblings, their spouses & children. I grew up playing soccer & tennis, but mostly dancing. When I was in high school I injured myself & was not able to dance anymore. Although this was a hard time for me, I was then able to spend more time on other things such as; the guitar, piano, writing music, singing & film acting. I love animals, spicy food and going on adventures. I would love to learn Spanish and I am slightly (okay completely) obsessed with music. I know that life is a gift & I want to spend as much time as I can enjoying the amazing things God has given us as His children. Whether that is going to the beach, skiing, boating, laughing at dumb jokes, watching lightning storms, Chinese food, horseback riding, counting shooting stars, tacos, hiking, making new friends, enjoying the presence of someone I love, & so much more. All these things make me happy, but what I know has made ALL the difference in my life is my relationship with our Father in Heaven & our Savior Jesus Christ. Knowing that I am a daughter of God has been the greatest blessing to me & given me such a sense of security in my life. I know that we are never alone & that we are all loved, that is why I am now spending the next 18 months in the Canada Toronto Mission. So I can share with others the truths that have made me the happiest of all!:)

Why I am a Mormon

I know that what I have learned is true, our Father in Heaven will answer our prayers if we humbly ask in faith and that is what I had to do. All though I was raised in this church there came a time in my life where I had to make the choice if I was going to keep living the way I had been taught in my childhood, or to turn my back on the things I had learned. At this time I was living in a place where there were very few other members my own age. I found it challenging to stand up for my beliefs, when at the time I didn't really know if I truly believed them. It was around this time I decided that I would take Moroni's challenge found in the last few pages of the Book of Mormon (Moroni 10:3-5) and truly ask my Father in Heaven if the things I had been taught were true. It took awhile for me to truly be humble enough for my answer, But when I was ready my answer came. Ever since receiving my own witness that this gospel is true I have tried to live my life the best I am able to. Lucky for us, our Father in Heaven has never expected us to be perfect. I love knowing that everyday is a new day, and there is nothing that we can do that will make us unworthy of the Love of God, or unworthy of Christ infinite Atonement.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought so much joy and love into my life! I am on a mission right now so I can share that joy and love that I have felt with as many people as possible. I love acting and public speaking, because of this I have been blessed to work with the youth programs in the church and have been able to travel around and meet many young men and women all over who are striving to live their faith and remember what is most important in this world of rapidly shifting values. It makes me happy and gives me strength sharing what I believe and being a friend to others!
