Hi I'm Lane

I grew up in Idaho. I have five children and 21 grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a rural area in a family of modest means. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get a college education. My work has taken me back and forth across the United States. My wife and I raised 5 wonderful children. We experienced the joys and challenges of life together in trying to provide for our family and trying to teach them how to live consistent with Christ's teachings. While we have moved often, we have always felt at home and had great support from the local members of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I don't know exactly when I gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, but had confirmations of the Spirit early in my life. My experiences as a young missionary for the Church and subsequent years of Church service have added to my early spiritual foundation. Each of my personal experiences has added to and strength

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed the privilege of serving in a variety of capacities in the Church. These have included teaching, administration, and counseling both youth and adults. Each opportunity to serve others has strengthened my own faith and has enriched my life. The most challenging and rewarding opportunities have come in teaching our own children. These family associations and memories are the very substance of life. Finally, my personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and study of his word has given me the faith and hope that I can be together with my family forever in a state of happiness.
