Hi I'm Nathan Williams

I grew up in Texas. I am a college football player. I am a son. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I played football in high school . I am the youngest of five siblings. I am going to play college football when I return home. I am really dedicated to my family and my church. I put God first in all things. I'm very friendly and love to talk.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because families can be together forever if we use the correct authority of the Preisthood. This means a lot to me because when I was about 15 years old my brother, Dexner Williams died. He was 27 years old. It was really hard on me. My brother was my role model. Many people cried out and wept for us because we would never see my brother, a son, a father, a mentor ever again. I did not cry I instead had a smile on my face. Yes, my brother was gone and that hit me harder than anything but through the plan of salvation I could see my brother again.

How I live my faith

I have served in church callings ever since I was twelve. I am very active in my community especially with the Boy Scouts. I help out the youth by trying to be an example and always talking with them whenever they have a concern. I also go out and visit members so that they know that there is always someone who cares about them. I also helped to organize some of the parties. I do these things to just give back because the church helps me so much more in my everyday life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Nathan Williams
No, we help everyone that needs help. In fact every year for the past last ten years my family has volunteered at a homeless shelter on Christmas. We go there to serve lunch and also to serve a smile to anyone for the Holiday season. Besides that I have also volunteered for many organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, various animal shelters, and many other places. We as Mormons want to help all those that need help and giving aid in all that it is needed. When Hurricane Sandy hit the Mormon Helping Hands organization helped to clean up and just lend a caring and open hand to all those that asked for it. People in New York still remember how the missionaries came and helped them when they didn't think there was anyone there for them. We help everyone not just Mormons. Show more Show less
