Hi I'm Nolan Nielsen

I love sports and I love my family. I love Jesus Christ and I love his Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played football and basketball throughout my high school career. I plan on going to college after I serve my 2 year mission. I enjoy being active and spending time with my family. Schooling is very important to me. I try to be the best I can in my schooling. I'm also an eagle scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a mormon. I've chosen to be a member of this church because I know it is true. By reading through the Book of Mormon, attending church regularly, and by praying daily I have witnessed the truth of it. Many trials have been put in my life, but it has only strengthened my testimony. The Lord is on my side. Isaiah 41:10 is the scripture that really made a change for me and still influences me today. I'm grateful for this church. It has provided and given so much to me. So many blessings come from this great, wonderful church. My family can be together forever. I know this church is true, I know Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ. I know Joseph Smith restored this gospel to the earth. God lives and he speaks to us today.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I have had many opportunities to increase my faith and live it. I have served in many leadership positions throughout priesthood and scouting. I am going to be serving a mission and can't wait to bring others eternal happiness. The scriptures are very important to me. Whenever I need to feel comfort I know I can always turn to the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is true, I know it.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Nolan Nielsen
Christ suffered and died for us. With him fulfilling the atonement, we can be forgiven for our sins. Through the atonement, we have that power of repentance. The atonement is essential to everything we do in the church. I always think of the plan of salvation when I ponder the atonement. Without the atonement, we would of never made it back to Heavenly Father and had the chance to live with him in the highest kingdoms. The atonement is a powerful gift from our Heavenly Father. He gave up his Only Begotten so that all of us can be saved. Show more Show less
