Hi I'm Dallin

I'm an avid runner. I'm a pianist. I'm an aspiring scientist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of four children and grew up in Kaysville, UT. I am serving a mission in Boston, MA and am so excited to serve my Savior. I attended Davis High School and was a distance runner on the track and cross country teams. I competed at the state championships in track racing the 800m and the medley relay. I love to play the piano and find myself spending hours at a time practicing and playing it without realizing. I also play the organ for my church ward. I have been diagnosed with celiac disease and enjoy finding foods and making foods that I can eat on my gluten-free diet. After I serve my mission I plan on going to college and majoring in nutrition science and human biology. My career goal at the moment is to become a medical scientist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have grown to realize the happiness and joy that can be felt as I follow God's commandments. I have received witnesses in my heart through feelings of peace and joy that have testified to me that being a Mormon is what God wants for me and that this is truly His church. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today and that it has been restored from the original church that Christ established on the earth. I know that through Christ I can change and become more like my Savior and eventually see my Heavenly Father again. Christ is my mentor and my friend, He has taught me so much and through His church I am able to become like Him, there is no other organization on earth that can do so. I know that being is a Mormon is right for you and I testify that you will receive more joy and happiness in this chruch that you can even think is possible. It brings me joy to know that I will be able to see my family after I die and live with them forever. I know these things because I have felt it in my heart time and time again that this is right and that this is God's church with feelings of joy, happiness, and peace. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to live as Christ lives as much as is possible and learn from every experience God puts into my life to become stronger and more faithful to Him. By always praying and striving to understand God's will for me I am able to do the things that I know will keep me safe and on the path that will give me the most happiness in life. I show my faith by serving others through my participation in church leading my peers as we all have strived to become more like Christ by planning activities and lessons that will best help them know how to become stronger and more like the people God wants them to be. I also serve as I play the piano allowing others to feel God's love for them.
