Hi I'm Rachel

I have lived in Utah my entire life. I am a people person! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and dance! I have taken voice lessons and I enjoy singing in choirs. I clogged for almost seven years! I'm a health nut and I believe in healthy eating and daily exercise. I am a daughter, a sister, and an aunt! I love meeting new people. Everyone has a story to tell and there is so much to be learned from others. :)

Why I am a Mormon

Perhaps the greatest blessing I have received, is to have been born and raised in the Mormon church. I can't imagine my life without the gospel of Jesus Christ, because it is my life! Following the example of Christ brings immense happiness and peace. Knowing that I have the opportunity to live with my family for eternity gives me hope! My grandmother lived with my family for five years before she passed away from Alzhiemers. I love my grandmother more than words can express, we have always had a special relationship. I remember standing at the door of her room after she had passed away, looking at her as she lay in bed. I was overcome with with a feeling happiness and could not help but smile! I could feel her great joy of leaving behind so many years of suffering, and of being reunited with her husband! I know I will one day see her again; of that I am certain. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us so dearly. I know that because of that love he has prepared a way for us to return to live with him again! We are not earning heaven through keeping His commandments, we are learning heaven. We are learning to become like our Savior who has given us the perfect example to follow. I look forward to the day that I will once again stand before my Father in Heaven. I know that as I follow his son's example and live according to His gospel, I will become more prepared to receive of His bounteous blessings.

How I live my faith

I believe that true conversion is a daily process. We must actively live what we believe! Every morning I take time to pray, study and ponder the scriptures. I look forward to attending the temple each week; it brings a peace into my life that can be found nowhere else. I have the wonderful opportunity of teaching primary in my ward! Children have a great love for Jesus. I learn so much from them each week!
