Hi I'm Caleb

I am the youngest in a family of four boys in Mantua Utah, and I'm getting ready to serve a mission in Mexico.

About Me

Hello I am Caleb. Some of my hobbies are playing the piano, reading, and distance running. So far I have attended one semester of college, and right now I am preparing to serve an LDS Mission in Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, so I have been taught the teachings of the church for as long as I can remember. Going to church was just something that was part of my routine. And as I have grown older I have looked back on everything I have been taught at church and everything that I have learned from reading the Holy Scriptures, and I have realized how blessed I am and how much I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is truly our Savior and he loves us more than we can comprehend. This church on the earth is here to help, teach, and support us so that we can make our way back to live with him and have true joy in this life and forever.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve as a leader in my young men groups and church. I have also had the privilege to serve by playing the piano in church for people to sing hymns. I have often had the opportunity to participate in service projects with my church. One of the most common service projects was helping with the cleanup when somebody is cutting trees down. I have also had the opportunity to help elderly community members with their yard work. We also often visit the local nursing home and do service there.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Caleb
Yes, Jesus appeared to the people in North America after his crucifixion and Resurrection. He blessed and taught the people In North America just as in Jerusalem because he loves all of the people on this earth. John 10:16 states "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd". Jesus was referring to the people in America whom he would come teach. Show more Show less
