Hi I'm Tiffany Nielson

I'm a Mormon, volleyball is my life. I love to run and hike in the beautiful mountains of Washington. My dream is to travel :)

About Me

I am a 20 year old college student who is striving to receive a degree in International Studies so that I can hopefully be an ambassador someday to somewhere in the African continent. I am interested in other cultures; how they live, how they interact, and how they come together. I want to travel the world! There are many places that I wish I could visit, and I hope that I can someday. One of my biggest worries is that I will settle down somewhere, and get stuck there for the rest of my life. I love volleyball. I also like other sports like Ultimate Frisbee and running. I love nature too. I used to go on early morning hikes back home in Washington with my friends to see the sunrise. I am very active, but also like to relax. I love the taste of fruit, especially if it is a flavor of frozen yogurt.

Why I am a Mormon

Wow, that's quite the question! I'm Mormon because it's a gospel and a religion that has made my life far better than anything I could've imagined. The beauty of this gospel is that it teaches us to really get to know our Savior personally and seek to gain knowledge. There are a lot of commandments connected with following in the footsteps of the Savior, but if we are striving to be like Him and want to live with him I think we can learn to love each and every one of them! We have the ability to choose in this life (agency) and because of that I have found that choosing to follow the modern day prophets has brought me so much happiness that I see no reason to not be Mormon. I love everything the gospel teaches and the truth that it contains. So I say Why not be Mormon!?

How I live my faith

Some of the greatest things I've been able to do within the church is service projects. I think it's important to serve our communities as a we are in the service of the Savior:) I've served in many different callings and have loved being able to get to know my fellow sisters and other members. The craziest thing is that now I get the opportunity to serve a mission and I'm excited to teach people of peace and happiness which one can receive through the gospel taught in this church!!!!
