Hi I'm Noelle Young

I'm a Mormon. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Sweden Stockholm Mission. I love my family so much!

About Me

I am a young single adult. I grew up in Washington state, but my family currently resides in Utah. I love the season of Summer. I enjoy playing volleyball and tennis, yet I am not a very competitive person. I love my family very much. I attended one year of college, but now I am serving a full-time mission. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, yet becoming a member of this church was my own choice. I have the agency to choose what I want to in this life, and I chose (and still choose today) to be a member of His church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church upon this Earth today. I know that to be true. I am forever grateful for the Restoration of this church upon this Earth. I am lucky and proud to be a member of it, to be a Mormon. I love my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, with all of my heart. They are the Head of this church. I am grateful for the wonderful truths that this church teaches. I love learning and trying my best to live the ways that Christ did when He was upon this Earth over 2,000 years ago. Although none of us are perfect, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains all truth for us to become perfected. I want to be worthy to enter our Heavenly Father's presence once again after this life. I also want to help others to do the same. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try my best to be a great example to individuals around me. I love everyone! I am always looking for and acting on opportunities to serve and encourage others. I am currently serving a full-time mission. I try my best to always bring others unto Christ. I try to live as Christ did here upon the Earth. When I mess up or do not live up to those standards, I repent of my wrongdoings and change my life for the best, one step at a time.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Noelle Young
No, not all Mormons are required to serve a mission. We believe that all members are missionaries though. Full-time missions are for those who are worthy and able. Worthy young men in the church are strongly encouraged to serve full-time missions of 2 years. As for worthy young women, it is not as strong of an encouragement, but they are always welcome to serve a full-time mission of 18 months. I chose to serve a mission. It is right for me at this time of my life. I am serving in the Sweden Stockholm Mission because that is where I have been called to serve, and it is where my Father in Heaven needs me at this time of my life and knows it is the best place for me to serve.
