Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a graphic designer, a musician, and a missionary. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a fan of Marvel and DC (born and raised, thanks Dad), a supporter of all mint-flavored gums, and have a weakness for Cookies and Cream ice cream (though pretty much just Oreos in general). I taught myself how to ride a bike, have had some of my poetry published, and harbor a deep love of history and culture. I love to laugh, enjoy quoting movies, and even though I tell my mom that her puns are terrible, I secretly think that they are hilarious. I love music; it is such an incredibly huge part of who I am, and it always will be. And I'm going to school for graphic design and videography!

Why I am a Mormon

Wow. That's a really long story. The reasons change every day, and I always get more and more. One of the biggest reasons I'm a Mormon is because I've had too many experiences with my Heavenly Father to ever doubt His existence, and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has helped me be able to know Him better than anything else I've tried. I know Him now, and I know that He knows me and loves me for who I am and who I'm trying to become. And that means more to me than anything.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission, and preparing for it has been one of the hardest, yet rewarding experiences that I've ever had. I would have to say, though, that living my faith is a day to day experience. Some days I do really well, and I feel like I've done my best to show my Heavenly Father that I love Him and that I am keeping His commandments. Other days are harder, especially when I get down on myself about how little a difference I feel I am really making. I've had to learn that all Heavenly Father asks of us is to do our best, and if we mess up, then we start again the next day, always trying to be better than we were the day before.
