Hi I'm Elijah

From Utah, Serving a Full-Time Mission, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being active and working hard! Anything outside and I love it! I love to learn new things! That's one of the reasons I love serving my mission, I learn so much! I am excited to continue my education when I get home from serving my full-time Mission. Life is a Beautiful thing... Treat it as such! :)

Why I am a Mormon

Just like the prophet Nephi in the Book of Mormon, I have been born of goodly parents. My parents taught me as a child and as a young man how to live the way that Christ taught. I didn't always listen to them and I stopped following Jesus Christ and I quit living the commandments. I forgot the things that my parents had taught me, and because of that I was unhappy for a long time. At one point I was humbled, there was a lot of tears shed, and I recognized that the things my parents had taught me were true. Through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, obeying the commandments and Repentance(Change), I have found Peace in my life! That's why I'm a Mormon! :)

How I live my faith

Since March I have been serving a full time Mission in Minnesota. As a missionary I have the opportunity to teach people about Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is so simple! As I invite others to come unto Christ, I am inviting People to have Faith in him, To Repent of their Sins, and to Make promises with God to follow him. As I Invite others to do these things I learn so much about how it has changed my life! I recognize the Joy this gospel has brought me! Teaching others about Jesus Christ, helps me live His Gospel!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Elijah
A testimony is a beautiful thing. We develop our testimonies as we ask questions to Heavenly Father and earnestly seek after answers. Through study of the scriptures, attending church and just listening. We can receive spiritual witnesses to the truth of things... Or a testimony!(Read the official churches answer as well!) We strengthen our testimonies as we continually pray, study, and ponder, and especially as we share them! :) Show more Show less
