Hi I'm Elder Cameron J. Poulton

I grew up in Utah. I went to college in Hawaii. I'm serving a mission in the Russia Samara Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving sports. Basketball is by far my favorite. I also love the outdoors! I've been attending college in Hawaii which granted me access to some of God's most wonderful creations. I love to skate, surf, play basketball, and talk with people. I am serving in Samara, Russia until April 2018.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel and I don't know where I would be without it in my life. I have had many struggles and trials that have made me feel weak and alone, but I know that the principles of this gospel are in place for people who have feelings such as those. This gospel gives me hope and an understanding of how much is in store for the future. I know that this is the true Church on the earth today, and I choose to live it because I have read the scriptures and felt of Christ's love for me. The love I feel is greater than any other kind of love. This gospel brings me hope, peace, joy, understanding, and love. That is why I choose to live it and that's why I'm so excited to share it with the people of Russia.

How I live my faith

Out of all the church callings I have held thus far in my life, I can describe all of them using one word: service. Every calling was to serve the people in my ward, neighborhood, and community. Without the acts of service going on around the church, many people would be left wondering what is going on. Missionary service is so important, also! Having the Spirit is so important, in order to teach others properly, I know that having the Spirit with you is so crucial. I feel the spirit the strongest when I am serving others and my Heavenly Father!
