Hi I'm Valencia

I grew up in Utah and I'm currently a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family and friends; playing games, being outside, and going on trips. I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Puerto Rico, San Juan mission. I have been a member of the church my whole life and I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to share the Gospel with others. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found for myself that this church is the true church. I am a Mormon because I have seen the Lord's hand in my life and I am so blessed with the knowledge that I have of Heavenly Father's plan for me. I have found how to be happy and cope with challenges in my life through the help of my Savior, Jesus Christ, especially through His Atonement. This gospel has blessed my life in more ways than I can count and I am so grateful for the many people that I have met. The Book of Mormon has helped me so much in my life because it is written for our day, it is written for me and whenever I read it, I am filled with my Savior's love. I am a Mormon because I couldn't imagine my life without this gospel and I am a better person when I live in a way that my Savior and Heavenly Father would have me live. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and I can have true joy in my life. I have faced many trials where I needed to have faith and trust in the Lord that He knew best and that He could help me overcome them. I am so grateful for the faith I have because I have been able to accomplish great things through the help and support of my Savior. I am a Mormon because I know my purpose and I know who I am.

How I live my faith

Before coming on my mission, I worked with other to organize activities and I spent time visiting with others in the ward each month.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are so important to me because Heavenly Father gave them to us to learn and grow with. The family is central to God's plan and is a unit where we can feel love, peace, and the support. My family is so important to me because I know that death has no victory and that we will see our family again. Show more Show less
