Hi I'm Cassie Powell

From beaches to mountains and from sunshine to rain; I am so blessed to enjoy all of the beauties of this world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love to be active! I enjoy the sensation of having a full productive day. To stay busy I spend my time learning new skills from society and interesting facts from my classes (when I'm in school). I also enjoy exercising a the gym, running, biking, swimming, or even doing yoga. Meeting new people and listening to their stories is another passion of mine. All people are beautifully unique because of their past experiences, present attitudes, and futures perseverance's. And I believe there is a lot we can learn from one another.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to live by the teachings of the gospel that Jesus Christ set for us. I know this is how I can live the righteous life that my Heavenly Father has prepared for me and it is the only way I can return to live in His presence again. I was born in to the church and was raised according to gospel teachings. I am eternally grateful for my parents decisions to be baptized and become members because we have the blessings of being an eternal family and being able to grow in this gospel together. As I grew up, and continued to be active in the church and learn more about the doctrine, faith came easy for me. It just made sense to me; the happiness it brought and continues to bring me is without comparison to the happiness that comes from the things of the world. This church brings spiritual and eternal happiness which is why I am eager to share it with all of Gods children.

How I live my faith

I strive to live a Christ centered life. I have studied Christ's life and I know that I need to live a life like his. Serving a mission in the Washington Tacoma Mission is how I am living my faith. I am putting my Savior first as I show my love for Gods children and help them to learn of Gods love for them.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Cassie Powell
Of course Mormons help Mormons! We believe in showing Christlike love to all. Nothing should prevent any one from helping, serving, and loving all that we come in contact with. Show more Show less
