Hi I'm Savannah Werber

I am a singer, a musician, and an artist. I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been singing since I was 3 years old. I've been in many choirs, and I play 4 different instruments. I taught myself how to play each one because I have a hard time learning when someone else tries to teach me. I also taught myself how to paint and surprisingly, I am not terrible. I am not a professional in any of these fields but I hope to be really good at each someday.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were raised in the gospel, and so was I. It was normal for me to be around LDS members. Although these were my circumstances, I truly began to learn and to love this gospel when I attended seminary throughout my years in high school. I started to read the scriptures more, and pray more. I learned how to make the scripture stories come to life, how to understand them, and how to pray. Once I truly searched for the answers to my questions with real intent, wanting to know for myself, and asking in prayer if the things I was reading were true, I knew. Everything made sense and I felt at peace; my prayers were answered. My conversion happened when I searched for the answers for myself just as Joseph Smith did as directed in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that give the to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him"

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a mission, and I am overwhelmed with excitement to get started! I am taking several institute classes to prepare, and it has blessed me in ways that I never expected. I have been helping in church while I am waiting, and I have had the opportunity to give talks, input, and my artistic abilities in different activities.
